How to recognise us

What we do

• We read robots.txt before anything else and obey it, including Crawl-delay.
• We request pages one at a time, never in parallel, with a pause between each.
• We do not load images or media, which cuts most of the bandwidth a browser would use.
• We do not submit forms, follow logout links, or attempt to sign in.
• We only crawl a site repeatedly once its owner has proved control of the domain through a DNS record or an uploaded file.
